She has been slimed up pretty good a couple of times. It just blends in with the vinyl lol. I'd like to go up there next spring Jerry. Just gotta see how things unfold.

You'd sure be welcome if we can work out a time. I'm thinking of taking most of the month of May off next spring just for catfishing.

Beautiful boat Calvin... really!

That motor looks great. I assume that it has a new cowling?
You will learn to love and also hate those flotation pods (but mostly love em.)
Man, that Humminbird monitor sure looks sweet!!

I take it that your trolling motor wasn't repairable? Too bad. It was a nice unit.

Congratulations and I wish you all the best with your new ride.

Tony

Please excuse my ignorance, but what are the pods for? Extra floatation? Man that's a sweet boat. Whoever said "boat porn" got it right!

Thank you. The flotation pods just keep the back of the boat up. They make a huge difference on how the boat rides. They are also a nice step to get into the boat. My wife likes them because she sits on them when we are floating on the river. They weren't too expensive to add on either. I think around 300 dollars?

I haven't done much else to the boat. Except getting the lower unit repaired....700 dollars. We did put new seats on it in July. They are very nice.

If you guys want to look at SeaArks or just talk boats. Swing by Dave's Marine in Fort Madison. Dave's son Mike sold me my boat and he is a great guy to work with. He is a tournament catfisherman also so that makes it even better. I've had a few things done to my boat maintenance\motor repair and he is very reasonable.

Thanks Calvin. I just spent some time researching pods. Pretty impressive. Sounds like a serious performance boost for a couple hundred bucks.

Thanks guys.

Duckalot my buddy bought the seats from a Farm Supply store. They are for tractors. They recline, arms adjust, head rest adjust, etc. He ended up getting a boat just like mine and got the SeaArk seats for it so he sold me his. I love em.

A good seat is worth a bunch! I took some captains chairs out of an old dodge van and had them recovered, recliners in the boat, a must have!!
